Filter it down instead of endless scrolling
Facebook lets you narrow the log by category and date so a monthly review takes minutes.
- Filter by Logged actions and other activity vs. your posts
- Jump to a specific year or month with the date selector
- Isolate 'Active sessions' and 'Logins' for a security-only pass

Catch old app and website connections
Apps you linked years ago keep access until you remove them โ the log is where you find them.
- Review every app and site connected to your account
- Remove connections you no longer use or recognize
- Re-check after any 'Log in with Facebook' sign-up

FAQ
Is the Activity Log the same as my login history?
No. Login history is one slice of it. The Activity Log also records posts, comments, reactions, searches, and app connections tied to your account, so it gives a fuller picture. For logins alone, the 'Where you're logged in' screen is faster.
Can I use the Activity Log to see who viewed my profile?
No. Facebook does not record or expose profile views anywhere, and no legitimate tool can. Any service claiming to reveal 'who viewed you' is a myth or a scam. The Activity Log shows your own actions, not other people's viewing.
Can I check someone else's Activity Log?
No. The Activity Log is private to each account owner and only visible when signed into that account. You can review your own, or help a minor child or a consenting adult review theirs together using their own login.
How often should I review my Activity Log?
A monthly pass works well: filter by the last month, scan logins and active sessions, then check connected apps and remove anything you no longer use. Do an extra review right after any unrecognized-login alert.
I found something I don't recognize โ what next?
Don't panic. Remove the app connection or log out the session, change your password, and run Facebook's Security Checkup. If you suspect access you didn't authorize, our detect-access page walks through the safe steps.
